Shelf components can be mainly divided into the following categories:
Columns: Columns are the main supporting structure of the shelf and bear vertical loads. Common column materials include square tubes, round tubes and angle steels.
Beams: Beams are used to support goods. They are usually made of rectangular steel or channel steel and connected between the columns to provide lateral support.
Column feet: Column feet are the main components supporting the shelf and are usually made of steel materials such as stainless steel or galvanized steel.
Struts: Struts are used to strengthen the stability of the shelf and prevent the shelf from tilting. Materials include round steel, angle steel, etc.
Struts: Stretches such as angle plates and angle irons are used to strengthen the frame structure of the shelf and improve stability.
Storage boxes: Storage boxes are used to store goods. Materials include plastic, steel, etc.
Shelf boards: Shelf boards are used to place goods. They can be made of wood or steel and are usually placed on beams.
Closing board: Closing board is used to close the side and back of the shelf, and the material can be wood or wire mesh. Span beam: Span beam is used to connect the crossbeam of the shelf to increase the stability of the shelf. Foot guard and guardrail: Foot guard and guardrail are used to protect the bottom and sides of the shelf to prevent goods from falling. Differences in components of different types of shelves: Medium-duty shelves: It is composed of column pieces, cross beams, layers, span beams and closing boards, suitable for the storage of goods with a layer weight of less than 500KG. Beam-type shelves: It is composed of columns, cross beams, span beams, layers, foot guards and guardrails, suitable for pallet storage, with the characteristics of first-in-first-out. Mold rack: It is composed of column pieces, drawer boards, brackets, slides, etc., suitable for storing various molds. Welded shelves: It adopts corner welding, suitable for the storage of goods with a layer load of less than 200KG. These components together constitute the main structure of the shelf to ensure the stability and load-bearing capacity of the shelf. The selection of appropriate components needs to be determined based on the specific storage environment and needs.
