Push-back pallet rack is for high density storage. The rack depth is usually within 5 pallet positions. When making back to back structure, the depth could reach 8 pallet position. It will save a lot of space in a limited space environment. Pallet unit "first-in" rack system, "last-out" rack system (FILO).

Characteristics
-Applicable to warehouses with high cost per unit area, such as cold storage, warehouses in prime locations in downtown, etc.
-Provide 20%-30% selectability
-Both safety and operating efficiency are higher than drive-in racks (drive through racks).
-Compared with pallet rack, it increases the utilization rate of the ground by about 60%.
-It can be used with a reach forklift or a counterbalanced forklift, and the forklift operation requirements are lower than drive in pallet rack.
Loading
Carrying cart runs along the inclined rail beam. First pallet is placed on top carrying cart, forklift carrying second pallet push the first pallet into rack depth and pallet is placed on the next carrying cart, the rest keep the same operation till the rack depth is fully loaded.
Unloading
Forklift pick up the pallet that is last placed on rack. In the meantime, the next pallet on the cart roll out to the pick-up point under its gravity, when forklift pick up the next pallet, the deeper pallet roll to the pick-up point till the pallet that is first placed on rack is taken out.
